Regain your focus

How do you save your vision through everyday business life?

A good vision, a carefully crafted strategy are crucial, but not sufficient for success as an entrepreneur. The proof lies in the implementation. Is it possible to successfully bring what has been strategically developed into everyday life? And will it be possible to remain true to the vision in the long term? If the vision has fallen out of focus in everyday life and new impulses are needed it is worth pausing and gaining clarity.

Safely run your business

Your company, your vision, your strategy, your implementation. It is all unique. Nevertheless, there are some best practices:

  • Review corporate planning after strategy development: so you ensure that corporate planning not only meets financial requirements but also has a beneficial effect on key figures beyond reporting statements.
  • Human resources: set guidelines of management and empowerment for a long-term framework that individual personnel decisions can be based upon again and again.
  • Operational implementation of a usable and meaningful KPI system: avoids that a wealth of data is collected that no one uses. Less high quality data is often preferrable over a lot of doubtful numbers. The less data you can work with the more often it may be provided. Continuous and reliable data is a great source for continuous improvement. Why not use it?

Do you want to save your vision?

As a long-time connoisseur of the everyday life of medium-sized companies, I know how solutions are implemented. That is the basis of my work as an entrepreneur consultant. From advising clients, I know the feeling when the company is doing quite well and yet the vision has been lost a little. How much better would it go if the vision were revitalized and adjusted a little to meet today’s and future requirements again?
