Digitization begins doing analog work
ERP is an automated organization. Organization is the structured processing of similar activities. Mostly created by historically grown processes and procedures. Anyone who digitizes this organization digitizes the past. Why does this happen so often? System changes are time-consuming. Dependencies on suppliers and customers are large. Changes are difficult and have a limited impact. Projects start euphorically and end unloved.
ERP consulting cannot be simple enough
To use ERP efficiently and with maximum benefit for your company pragmatic solutions are needed. As simple as possible, but no simpler. ERP consulting identifies what should and should not be done. Where an individual decision is needed and where principles help. When existing structures are analyzed with this attitude, it soon becomes clear what should be meaningfully organized differently and what is already “good enough”. Especially important: take people with you. Because without a team behind it, ERP will not fulfill its promises.
